Haworthia acuminata (M.B.Bayer) I.Breuer

acuminata: sharp-pointed

This variety is distinguished by its very acuminate leaves and slight scabrousness. It also has marginal denticulate and color is intermediate between dark green of H. magnifica complex and the yellowish-green of H. turgida/retusa complex.


Distribution map

Type locality N. Gouritzmond was destroyed due to road works. Now it is known from several localities around.


In cultivation H. acuminata grows without any problems. Some clones are proliferous, others remains solitary.
